No. It offers the times from the schedule you set in AnswerForMe; an event you add directly in Google Calendar does not block that time.

What happens if the customer cancels?

The customer can cancel in the same chat (the assistant confirms it with them first) or you cancel it in AnswerForMe: either way, the event is deleted from your Google Calendar.

Why does Google show a warning when I connect?

While Google finishes reviewing the AnswerForMe app, you may see an unverified app warning when you connect. You can continue from the advanced options on that screen; the permission is the same: create and delete your booking events.
